Dozens of voters shouted down paid staffers from a Koch brothers advocacy group that targeted a Montana Republican lawmaker who is open to expanding Medicaid in his state.
State Rep. Frank Garner has refused to sign a blanket pledge against expanding Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act, and Americans for Prosperity-Montana is campaigning against him and two other lawmakers state Reps. Jeff Welborn and Tom Berry who have done the same.
The Koch-sponsored group is blanketing their House districts with mailers that show each lawmakers face superimposed over a photograph of President Barack Obama.
About 100 people turned out for a town hall meeting Thursday in Kalispell that was promoted by AFP, and Garner traveled eight hours from Helena to speak with his constituents after a reporter told him about the event, reported the Flathead Beacon.

And our dumbfuck legislators in TN of course sided with these "good Christians" who think it's a travesty against god and jeebus to let poor people go to the doctor.
Gawd, cannot wait to get out of here. They're too stupid to run off the Kochsuckers. The citizens of TN love to be exploited by the rich. Takes 'em back to plantation days and they get all sentimental.
Good on the people of Montana.

(81,267 posts)One thing the kochs probably appreciate the least - is that they've been totally exposed. They're not able to operate in the shadows anymore. Too many people know about them now, and understand what they're about. Not enough to resist them entirely, but this is a very good sign. Hope it's an accelerating and expanding trend!

(65,042 posts)The Air Force doesn't even like that plane much. There are serious questions as to whether it's really an air superiority improvement over what we already had, which is nearly total air superiority.
