Here's why I think Walker is more dangerous than JEB:

JEB's fine with the Big Money guys, but his problem is that he's not quite wacko enough for the Tea Party. Immigration, for one thing.

Walker, on the other hand, sucks in the rubes, rednecks and other assorted semiliterates in the population. They LOVED the way he beat down the teachers & state employees.

A vote for Walker was a vote of revenge against all those teachers who had tormented them all those years ago.

A vote for Walker was a chance to give all those wiseass state bureaucrats a comeuppance--especially that shitty Drivers License Examiner that just flunked my kid….

They love that he took money out of the pockets of those lazy K-12 teachers ...

folks need only look at Wisconsin to see what Walker is capable of. He is a pawn for the Koch Bros. Cut all public spending (most recently his suggestions including cutting the budget of the UW system by 13%), break the unions, leave gay marriage up to the churches, etc ...

the mainstream big money centrist is OK with Democrats! Jeb would be best for the left.

Would the right say this about our mainstream big money centrist candidate? At least Hillary is better than Liz or Bernie? I don't recall ever hearing that, but I don't know anything about Republican Underground.

I absolutely agree with JR, and we are much more analytic and sophisticated about our politics, but Republicans keep it simple -- all Democrats bad. All. I long for the day that message doesn't work!

If you spend time studying them, seeing what they say in their discussion forums, listening to and watching conservative media, you realize Jeb will have a huge problem winning the Repug nomination.

Spend 15 minutes each reading posts on the 5 biggest conservative discussion forums and you will see it immediately. Listen to right wing radio shows and you will hear it right away when 2016 is discussed.

Whether the money folks want him or not, he still has to get the votes in the primaries and caucuses.

And he will not be able to do it. He has no chance in Iowa, he won't win in the South with the exception perhaps of Florida, and Marco Rubio might challenge him there, and in New Hampshire, Rand Paul is likely to win.

In the first 13 -18 primary contests, its hard to see more than 2-3 that he has a chance of winning.

AND here is the kicker, you can bet that he is in the crosshairs of all the other folks during the debates. They are going to hammer him on immigration. He's really screwed.

He has much bigger problems with those on the right most 50% of the party than Hillary does with the left most 50% of the Democratic base, for instance, probably by a factor of 10.

What Jeb said regarding immigration completely disqualifies him in their eyes.

18. The winner for President has to have a certain percentage of Undecided voters as it's usually within

a small majority, either way. Seems to me that Walker, although he may appeal to the TP and RWers, he loses that appeal as a Presidential candidate. He'll be way out of his comfort zone, money notwithstanding. I'd rather see him against anyone the Democrats run because lack of intelligence, experience, a kind of a GWB swagger, and major stress on the campaign trail, will start to wear away his thin facade.

Jeb, OTOH, would make a formidable national candidate...with all of the above. He comes across as "the smart one". Call me silly, but I think his Spanish speaking family will be more of a help than a hindrance and the immigration brouhaha factor will not be the final arbiter.

That's why I'm hoping that Julian Castro will be our VP nominee. The Hispanic vote is increasingly significant and I'd just as soon the Republicans don't understand that.
