(82,849 posts)Now is too early. Once the President makes the announcement, it will be too late. You have to wait until the time is just right, the Goldilocks Moment. Biggest problem with the Goldilocks Moment is that it can usually be discerned only after it's too late. At that time, you will be urged to pipe down because "you should have said something sooner." We know the Goldilocks Moment hasn't happened yet because any expression of disagreement with the rumored proposal is "preemptive outrage."
So, keep quiet until it's too late, then keep quiet because you should have said something earlier. See how it works?

(19,926 posts)than to be a blind devotee and participate in the cult of personality and by extension enable TPTB's push toward a police/authoritarian state.
If things aren't questioned before they happen, they will actually happen and then it's too late. That "it hasn't even happened yet" line of thinking goes against the very definition of democracy and is an extremely dangerous and immature way to follow politics. Better you think for yourself than to attempt to ridicule the critical thinkers and then go on to simply defend/endorse whatever POTUS does/says.

Silence treatment?!
Where is the special prosecutor with $40,000,000?
In case of necessity give him the extreme investigation
treatment!
That'll learn him!
