Who is watching "Book of Negroes" on BET?

It's really good. The true story of slaves who sided with the British against Americans in the Revolutionary War and how many of them fled to Nova Scotia afterwards.

2. It was a book first. Didn't sell so well outside of Canada. I read somewhere

that readers did not know what to make of the "n" word in the title. The lead actress is American. I'm going to wait for it to come out on dvd. I liked the book.

3. I saw the whole series already

It aired on CBC here in Canada over the last few weeks. The last episode was last week. It's a must-watch, IMO.

4. There were some genuinely decent people on the British side, no doubt, just as with the Patriots....

But then again, had the British actually won, would this still have happened? I'm not so sure.....it's probably because they lost, in reality. But still, good for those Afro-Americans lucky enough to make the trip.
