I've decided to start a few of these, because we need a deeper discussion on the questions of wealth and poverty here on DU and this seemed a way to start that.
This poll's question is
"Do you believe that the very wealthy are morally superior to the rest of us and entitled to judge all who have acquired less wealth than they?
Corollary question for discussion: To what degree do you believe that there is a corollary between the acquisition of wealth and the morality and "character" of those who manage to acquire it?

(68,644 posts)There may well be an inverse correlation between wealth and morals when we speak about the 1% because, truly, they should be shedding enough of that wealth to good causes to be classified in a less exclusive bracket.
