Who and what should determine what our party's 2016 platform says?

Corollary questions:

"If the platform is based solely on what whoever the nominee ends up being wants, with no real input from rank and file people at the platform hearings or the convention delegates themselves, will our platform end up saying anything that matters?"

"Is there any point in having a platform if it's bland, inoffensive and 'safe'?"

The platform matters for about 24 hours... unless it says something really stupid. n/t PoliticAverse Feb 2015 #2

I should decide.

It's a good question and I appreciate that you asked. In all reality, the 1% decide and that's it.
