From so-called 'news' sources. Advertising disguised as news. I see programs that have the actors going to Subway for lunch and talking about the food.
Milton Berle did a parody on his short-lived variety show in the mid '60s. He imagined that commercials would be intertwined with the program in the future. Not like the characters doing a commercial in between segments as had already been done, but they would actually be part of the story. The bit I remember had an actor get shot. As he lay on the stage, Berle poured a soda on him and sang "Come alive, you're in the Pepsi generation."

(14,449 posts)Once and only once. It was too overwhelming bacon. The Pizza might not be so overbearing with bacon....well see. I imagine very few will try it here so I will be the Ginny pig and let everyone know. Probably this weekend if the one near me has it.
