What I have been surprised...no, shocked...by has been the ignorance of women toward their own bodies.
I don't remember if I've ever mentioned it here before, but whatever...twice in my life I've been faced with the task of having to explain to grown women about certain parts of their anatomies.
One was about 35 at the time, never had children.
The other, more shocking, was near 60 years old at the time, had 3 (or maybe 4?) children
Neither one knew that the urethra and vagina were two different openings.
"No, dear...babies and pee don't come out the same hole"
Sad. Very very sad.
