I gather that Andy Caffrey aims to run as the Green Party candidate. That's not very clear on his website. Also, GMOs seem very important to Andy. Those of us who think that GMOs have promise as well as dangers (as my wife, a biologist, has persuaded me) will not want to support Andy.

As for Morrison Bonpasse -- what a great beard! He seems to be seeking the Demo nomination, tho that's again not very clear. As for his issues -- opposing wrongful convictions, OK, important. Zero population growth -- well, I understand where that is coming from, but I disagree. Single world currency -- Good Lord, why? I really think that qualifies as a crackpot idea.

Well, I'm a utopian myself on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and odd-numbered Saturday afternoons. And it is important to give these minority views more access to the discussion. After all, many important innovations started out as somebody's crazy idea. But if this is what we've got in 2016 -- wow.
