Developing story is in LBN: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10141098985

Original post: The City of Omaha was kind enough to let me finish my career at the Omaha Police Dept front desk on light duty, and kept me on when I was diagnosed.

No word on who the officer that is down identity. I have many good friends in the Dept.

This shooting is 2 blocks from the home Marta and I bought just before we married, and owned for over 30 years.

"Let's be careful out there."

"Extremely critical" doesn't sound real optimistic but I wish her all the best.
