Of course, his victim would go on to get kicked out for smoking a cigarette.

One of the other former students who was interviewed by the Post, David Seed, said he ran into Lauber in the 1990s in a bar at OHare International Airport in Chicago.
Seed said he told Lauber he had witnessed the incident and Im sorry I didnt do more to help.
He said Lauber told him: It was horrible Its something I have thought about a lot since then.
According to other students, Lauber was subsequently expelled from Cranbrook after being reported for smoking. His three sisters told the Post he died in 2004.

It is a hate crime. And it also shows how the "privileged" get away with hurting innocent people.
