but this is parody and almost no one actually saw the movie.

Maybe I can work in the 7/11 cookies, Seamus and the NASCAR raincoats to show how much Mitt has grown up, or at least grown old.

Don't know where you get that; I don't know anyone who hasn't seen it. Made money at the box office, too. And its seriously culted by a key Obama demographic (under-30s).

and it did poorly in theaters. The best demo was teen girls who knew Johnny Depp from 21 Jump Street. Other people thought it might be a horror film or just didn't get it. It cost around $20mil to make and rentals were only $27.5 mil so it did make just a little money but for a Burton film it was considered a flop until it went to cable.

Many people found the film after the Seinfeld episode. I think it is a unique and charming film and it came out after Vincent Price died. Glad to know it has found the audience it deserved all along.

It made $56 million in theaters -- nearly 3x its cost, which is not bad at all.

At any rate, though, I don't think we want Willard associated with as beloved a figure as Edward Scissorhands. Sweeny Todd, however...

Edward Scissorhands is one of the most compelling and loveable characters in the history of movies. Depp was pure genius in it. It was a great movie and made me a Tim Burton fan for life. Mitt is the total opposite. A clumsy, mean spirited turn off of the biggest kind. The man is the least compelling human being out there. I don't see a single redeeming quality in him. Not one.

The Edward Scissorhands when it comes to Government cuts. The picture is being painted of Romney.

and I could have sworn I read something about plans to use The Clash's "London Burning" to welcome tourists to the upcoming summer Olympics.

Edward Scissorhands was a gentle, loving soul who would have been bullied by Mittens. The comparison makes no sense.
