Fl Orange Cty, State ATtorney's Office -- 3 Dem. 1 REpub running

Basically, this race will come down to whether voters in Orange and Osceola counties want change. If they do, they have two capable prosecutors — guys Lamar hired and touted — to choose from.

But none of these three Democrats has yet delivered a knock-out punch.

Now for the strangeness.

It involves the lone Republican in the race: Joerg Jaeger, an affable Alabamian with a Southern drawl and German roots.

The reason Jaeger's performance was so strange is that he didn't even sound like he was campaigning for himself. He sounded like he was stumping for Lamar.

(5 paragraphs, but I counted less than 95 words)

It's hard to support Lawson Lamar even though he's a DEm. I think the local feeling is that he's part of the old guard DEms and any of the new candidates should be a possibility. Anyone have any more information?
