Which is the cancer killing american political discourse?

The Republican party or conservative policies?
We spend a lot of energy fighting Republicans because they are conservative
by allowing conservativism a home in the Democratic party are we not feeding the tumor?

Lies, half truths, material omissions, clouding the truth--every kind of deception you can think of.

And, yes, one of the deceptions is that conservative policies are somehow better coming from a Democrat.
