for equal rights and marriage equality. They were BLAMED by many for the John Kerry's loss. Our fight for equality was referred to as a "pet issue'. My how times have changed.

It's really amazing how some folks have rehabilitated themselves since then. Some are still active in politics and have a totally different view now from just 11 years ago. You'd think by the way they act that they were for it all along. I guess it's true what they say; converts are often more zealous than those born into the faith.
