Religious Public Servants Still Want To Let Beliefs Dictate Public Svcs They Provide.

It does not matter how legal certain public services are. The public is in for a long fight over how those services will be provided or if they are provided at all. In the mind of the religious right it is a right to let your beliefs trump the provision of a pubic service that violates your religious beliefs. In certain areas of the country it will take legal action to set things right.

And we will be fighting this battle until hell freezes over the resistance is that deep. The SCOTUS decision is just the beginning. And the GOP and its religious right allies will twist reality in to pretzels to get their way. In their mind they have not lost the fight.

The reason is that we have a contingent in this country that still desires a Christian state they will not give up. They are like ISIS in that ISIS will never evolve into an acceptable mode of behavior.. In their world keeping the 10 commandments and the Bible out of official government IS persecution for them.
