EXCLUSIVE: War Veteran with PTSD Faces Life in Prison for Pot, His Wife Calls for Help

This is just on the heels of the Sate of Oregon being the Forth State to legalize Pot....

Under Oklahoma's harsh marijuana prohibition laws, 100% disabled US Marine Corps veteran Kristoffer Lewandowski, who served three tours of duty overseas including stints in Iraq and Afghanistan, is reportedly facing up to life in prison for growing under an ounce of marijuana in his home in an effort to treat his PTSD and wean himself off of pharmaceutical drugs. His wife spoke exclusively to Truth in Media about their family's ordeal.

US Marine Corps combat veteran Kristoffer Lewandowski, who served in three tours of duty overseas including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, reportedly faces up to life in prison for pot charges connected to a June 2014 raid on his Geronimo, OK home that occurred after his wife and neighbors called police to get him help for a post-traumatic stress disorder flare-up. However, rather than providing mental health resources, police responding on the scene searched Lewandowski’s home for contraband and found six marijuana plants, weighing in at less than an ounce of plant matter in total, and charged him with, among other offenses, felony marijuana cultivation, which, under Oklahoma’s unusually-harsh marijuana laws, carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. Truth in Media obtained an exclusive interview with Kristoffer Lewandowski’s wife Whitney Lewandowski in an effort to get their family’s story on the record.

If you are in real need of smoking pot, then move to a state that allows that to happen. If I had to or family member had to smoke pot, I would relocate to CA or CO. I know it is a pain in the LLLLL to move, but it is a bigger pain in LLL to get involved in a legal battle for your freedom. He is probably get probation after paying legal fees. Will he continue to smoke or move?
Put your house up for sale, take a loss if necessary, and relocate. I have relocated for jobs, education, divorce parents,

but because of this, I won't be traveling through Oklahoma again I will pick instead, an equally repressive Midwestern prairie state to drive through. Maybe I can find one the least repressive. Going to look at the NORML site.

The NORML site says that the least repressive Midwestern prairie state is...Texas! So if I crossed the country again and was busted for pot, in the Midwest, from North Dakota to Mexico, Texas has the least repressive laws. Less penalties, A higher threshold for big sentences. That's what I got from it anyway.
