Like this one, look what it did to the car, and it's pleasantly suprising no one was killed.
Young Child Ejected from Vehicle in Dodge County Crash
A young child was ejected from a car after a crash in Dodge County that split a vehicle in two parts.
At about 3:54 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to a crash on Highway 151 near Salem Road in the Township of Calamus.
The Dodge County Sheriffs Office says 33-year-old Amy Galica of Oshkosh was driving north on 151 when her vehicle went into a counter-clockwise spin, slid through the median and into the southbound lanes of traffic.
Galicas vehicle collided with a car driven by 30-year-old Timothy Mcessey of Middleton.
The impact caused Galicas vehicle to split apart. A 3-year-old child in a car seat was ejected from Galicas vehicle.
The child was taken to Childrens Hospital in Madison. Galica was airlifted to UW-Madison Hospital. Mcessey was taken to Columbus Hospital.

(23,156 posts)the child wasn't killed. I likewise suspect that all drivers were wearing seat belts. It really does make a difference.

(17,469 posts)have survived the crash, it would seem that car's safety features were up to scratch, even if the driver's skills were not.
Newer cars are nice to have, but beyond the reach of many financially speaking.

(15,317 posts)The fact that no one was killed in that accident is incredible. There was a time where that would almost certainly not have been the case.
