Michael Savage: Gays Will Throw Christians Into The Coliseum With The Lions

http://aattp.org/michael-savage-pastors-prison/

Time for some more post-SCOTUS ruling paranoid and hateful propaganda from the right. Radio host Michael Savage went into full blast on Monday regarding the SCOTUS decision on marriage equality. He contends that pastors are next on the list of gay rights advocates, making a reference to the Tunisia ISIS massacre.
Gays will cheer. As they start throwing pastors in prison, you’ll see who’ll cheer them. Next we’ll get the arena and the lions, get the arena and the lions and bring them in from Tunisia.

Savage offered proof that the witch hunt is on for pastors with the 2014 story about two Idahoan pastors at a FOR-PROFIT wedding chapel were threatened with jail for breaking the nondiscrimination ordinance. However, the church was exempt because it was a “religious corporation.”

Before talking about his love for Huckabee’s call for treason, he added:
I feel like I’m being punched left and right from the Supreme Court today. I’ve never saw anything like this in my life.

I wish you were being punched left and right by something.

The fact that other people have been mistreated and denied rights means absolutely nothing to them.

I had no idea that lack of empathy was such a central feature of what it means to be a Christian.

Some of already have bull whips. Right afterwards we'll head on over to Palatine Hill and have an outdoor naked orgy the likes not seen since Caligula.

I want to show them what true persecution means.

Not being allowed to discriminate against other people is not persecution. Having to tolerate others is not a violation of your religious freedom.

How would a christian woman feel if she went to the DMV to get her drivers license renewed and a devout Muslim were working at the time? He feels that women should not be allowed to drive at all. Would she recognize his religious freedom to refuse to give her a license?

On the day the decision was handed down, I picture a scene like the ending of Kingsmen happening to fundamentalist bigots like Savage all over the country.

And you know what? I say pass the butter, the more insane these people get, the more it only makes them look like idiots.

I mean, hasn't he learned we've moved on in this mean old world to ethnic cleansing and death by refugee camp? Isn't he aware that poor, persecuted Christians are the majority, and as such, more likely to do the ethnic cleansing than suffer it?

Love all the fulminating on the far, far right fringes. We'll see if the sea of froth carries them along to the polls in November next year. My guess is that it won't, not unless the USSC issues a rabidly pro abortion ruling, something as likely as the Pope on a pogo stick, and I can't think of anything else that would produce this much vitriol.

I have a book written by a Catholic that says that many of the early Popes who were declared martyrs actually died natural deaths. I would imagine the same is true of other Christian 'martyrs' as well.

"Death by wild beast" was a fairly regular sentence for certain crimes, including some we would call "white collar" offenses, both in Rome and in the provinces.

The imperial bureaucracy did not take kindly to embezzlement, non-payment of taxes and other such.

who died that way, but not nearly as many as the Christian churches claimed. Also, some of the people killed might have been killed for reasons other than their supposed Christianity.

consensus is, slaves and non-citizen Christians were sometimes killed this way, while upstanding citizens could hope for exile or a quick beheading if they were unable to prove their loyalty to Rome and the Roman gods.

The acute shortage of lions preempts this otherwise sound idea from implementation at the current time.

Time to get the lion-breeding plan on line ASAP.
