Kid Rock and Ted Nugent team up to record a "We are the world" for racist dicks.

Last Monday, Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network’s Michigan chapter protested outside the Detroit Historical Museum, which houses a Kid Rock exhibit, demanding the singer stop waiving the Confederate flag on stage. In a statement to Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, Rock relayed a message to those upset back home in his native Detroit: “Please tell the people who are protesting to kiss my ass.”

County Fair rocker and conservative anti-hero Ted Nugent saw the segment on Fox and one text message later, a collaboration was born. Finding time in their busy schedules, Rock and Nugent met up at MotorSound Studios in Auburn Hills, MI, with a germ of an idea and one day to record.

Speaking with Rod Manford of WWJ Newsradio 950, Rock and Nugent detailed the song and the controversy surrounding it. “When you get a text from the Nuge you know you’ve done something right,” Kid laughs, “This is Al Sharpton doing what he does best, exploiting a tragedy for press and profit.”

Nugent was a bit more crass in regards to Sharpton, “Al-not-so-Sharpton is a racist, subhuman mongoloid who needs to suck on the end of my machine gun. It is toxic scum like Sharpton and Obama that have set race relations back 100 years in this county.” Ted continued, “If we burned every Confederate flag today, would whiney liberals shut their suck holes? Not a chance.”

Kid Rock described the song as “A love letter to the south and a middle finger to the PC establishment.” Nugent, author of such songs as: Wang Dang Sweet Poontang, Lovejacker, and Saddle Sore, is no stranger to controversy when it comes to his music. “Rock ‘n’ Roll ain’t supposed to be nice, it’s supposed to hit you upside the head with a tire iron, and that is exactly what this song does,” Nugent said.

I hear they're working on getting Charlie Daniels, Dave Mustaine and Meat Loaf together for the final version. All proceeds go to Sons of Confederate Veterans.

If the logistics can be worked out, they may go on tour performing all of Ted Nugent's Greatest Hit.
