. . . . . or however you self identify. I see others on the left expressing outrage at things he says. I see lefties engaging in unrequited debate with him.
Why?
He's the best thing for lefties since Ross Perot, but with a twist. He is the very embodiment of the psyche of the crazies who support him. He is their mirror. Let the light shine bright.
Then there's the not insignificant - and hugely enjoyable - comedy gold.
He will never be president, but just let him run. And run. And run.

(3,261 posts)No one is talking about Walker's corruption. It's all Donald, all the time. And when the focus shifts to the Dems, it's all about finding the cracks in Hillary's armor. Who benefits? The GOP.

(2,707 posts)to Ross Perot is unfounded. Perot helped no one except the Republican party. He saved Bush Sr. from a landslide loss when he re-entered (during the time Perot was gone, Bush Sr. was getting smoked), especially considering Bush Sr.'s election year approvals at Carter 1980 levels. Exit polls from election 1992 show Perot did not change the outcome. Perot also gave the GOP an out-of-my-control excuse why they not only lost 1992, but over 150 electoral votes that they used to win nearly 6 times in 6 elections (1968-1988). From Nixon to Bush '88, the GOP averaged 417 electoral votes. Since 1992, they average 210. Perot also robbed Clinton of his rightful mandate in 1992 and 1996, which woulda made things much better and smoother in his term and gave the GOP free reign to do to him what they did.
