Conservatives Are Turning Against FAUX News

Megyn Kelly and FAUX News Facebook pages getting hammered right now.

FreeRepublic is up in arms: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3321643/posts

I'm sure Rush Limbaugh will be joining the fray tomorrow as well.

Rupert Murdoch thought he was in control of his brood, but he let loose a Frankenstein monster.

Donald Trump IS going to run third party when he gets shoved out of the race by the GOP Establishment.

We're looking at another 1996 situation folks. Democratic electoral landslide worse than Clinton v. Dole.

Wingnuts are furious. There are over 10,000 comments on the Fox Facebook page and every single one is some version of "You were mean to Trump!!! You suck!!!" Megyn Kelly has 5000 comments on her page-same thing.

I'm no Trump fan (understatement of the year) but right out of the gate I said to my husband, "I don't believe they ambushed him like that. They're trying to take him out." I mean, I figured they would do that but not so blatantly. I think (I hope, I hope) it's going to backfire.

I love the smell of furious wingnut in the morning. Smells like victory.

I laughed at Reagan. Look at what happened.

The rich SOBs screwed up when they set the tea party loose on everyone. They could not control it. Now they have politicians and candidates like Trump, who are too loony for them, uncontrollable, and turning on them.

Trump will not be used by them. He is no more controllable than their tea party. If he does not get what he wants, he will wreck everything in sight.

I worry that he might win. Or, this might be a time when the women's vote will save us. Women cannot possibly like Trump. He is very open about seeing women as objects. (Maybe Rosie O'Donnell can be Hillary's veep)?

What these angry Trump supporters do not see is that they are angry about the wrong things and the wrong people. They vote against their own interests. They hate immigrants and black people, when the white banksters are the ones they should be turning against. We have all lost the same things, and we should be working against the repubbies and the people like Trump.

But then, Jimmy Carter came out of nowhere. I loved him, and I still do. But I think a lot of people voted for Carter because of Watergate, not because of what a good man he was.

That's what being young and busy will do, while a student and working in DC no less. Right after the election we saw Carter and his group come into the theater at an 'Amadeus' performance. and the reality (sorry Trump) that Hispanics are not going to vote for him, this is way crazier than Reagan (and I was so terrified of Regan that it was 6 months of my life I was a registered Republican so I could vote against him in his primary...)

Some republican advisor of Reagan's I think it was, recently said the best thing for the Republican party would be for Trump to get the nomination. He would be trounced, but it would bring the Republican Party back from the fringe, the same way the trouncing of Goldwater did.

What I'm most afraid of, is that Trump is the only one Hillary can beat because he's the only one with the high negatives she's suffering from. And, he won't get the nomination.

because not only would Hillary lose some votes, tho a lot less than a GOP nominee, but enough to keep her under the mythical tho meaningless "50% of the vote" and once again rob the Clintons of the mandates that Bill was robbed of by Ross Perot, even tho Perot, unlike Trump, never drew more from Republican candidates for Pres than from Clinton (the Perot-myth has been debunked time and time again, especially recently. I expect sooner or later it should be as rare on progressive sites as the Perot-truth is on con sites). Point is we don't need any delegitimization against our Presidents, be they named Obama or Clinton.

Hillary leads all the GOP candidates anyway if a 3rd party is not in the race, much as Bill led Bush Sr. heavily for the part of 1992 when Perot was gone, tho by not as huge margins but a win is a win. The kind of margins she has against Jeb now are much bigger than MoE and thus would turn into well over 50% after the election. She can beat Bush on her own too, if his performance the other night was his best.

I think tho enough of the GOP buys into the Perot-myth to start being nice to Trump, especially if the discord between the base and Fox continues to get out there. When Rush is at odds with Fox, things aren't good for the GOP. Hillary would beat Trump far worse than she would beat a Republican with Trump as a Nader type. But then again, few but some people in the GOP know that the Perot-myth is just that, and there could be some who figure Clinton will win anyway, so why not keep her under 50% if the GOP loses no matter what, and ruin her mandate.
