The employees at Hewlett-Packard, where Carly Fiorina was CEO for six years, dont seem interested in seeing their old boss become commander-in-chief.
Of the 302,000 employees at the company, not one has given a reportable amount to help Fiorina fund her 2016 presidential campaign, according to the campaigns most recent FEC filings, which lists all donations over $200. HPs corporate leadership also doesnt seem keen on the idea of Fiorina in the White House. Among the 12-member board of directors, just one, Ann Livermore, has given a donation above that threshold.
Also missing from the donor list are current CEO (and former GOP gubernatorial candidate) Meg Whitman, any members of the senior leadership team, and all but one member of the HP Board during Fiorinas tenure there from 1999 to 2005. Tom Perkins, a venture capitalist and former board member who voted to fire Fiorina in 2005, has since had a change of heart and donated $25,000 to CARLY for America, the super PAC supporting her.

(16,286 posts)Therefore, I can guarantee you the teaparty will absolutely LOVE HER.
We liberals make a mistake when we assume the more corruption and evil is exposed about the GOP the more they will lose their support.
Opposite is true.
Their supporters hate the United States.
They want the Christian States of North America, and whatever they have to do to achieve this, is what they will do.

That must have been one hell of a blow job.

(15,222 posts)You know, when you buy something with a credit card and want to leave a tip to the guy behind the counter (and get rid of those annoying coins.)
Of course Perkins is getting up there in age and Carly's face may actually turn him on (just like his favorite mare on the farm.)

Glad to hear it!
Hey, Carly, ever hear of Karma?
Let's see: she fired 30,000 people and outsourced their jobs, nearly ran the company into the ground, got millions of dollars in the process, and she's one nasty poor excuse for a human being.

But I do wonder how many will vote Republican for President!?!

(594 posts)I worked for HP when she was there and she was hated. If she visited a sales office, the office got a ten page list of instructions on how to prepare and treat her, including things like never talk to her unless she talked to you, what food and drink to have, etc. One would think she was a rock star, and she certainly believed it.
While the company was sinking, she had HP buy two new business jets for her personal transportation.
What a POS!
