http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2015/10/florida_senate_candidate_admit.html"Invictus says he is a pagan. And in an August blog post entitled "A Call for Total Insurrection," he quotes himself as saying: "I have prophesied for years that I was born for a Great War." But it's not entirely clear how violent he wants the rebellion to be," TampaBay.com reported.

Politico reports: "Invictus, 32, is an adherent of a religion called Thelema, established in the early 1900s by occultist Aleister Crowley. Invictus was expelled from the religion's fraternal organization, Ordo Templi Orientis, but denies Wyllie's specific claim about dismembering a goat.
"I have never dismembered a goat in my life. I have performed animal sacrifices as part of my religion," Invictus said. "I was expelled from the order for political reasons. And animal sacrifice was part of it. But that is a deliberate misrepresentation by Wyllie."

(13,985 posts)And don't tell me to "educate myself". Ive heard/read of too many instances where innocent animals are killed in some stupid occult /religious ceremony, such as described in the OP. Maybe you should follow your own advice and read about Crowley. He most certainly didn't eat the animals he sacrificed.
Have a great life.

He has also come to the conclusion that lawyers are nothing more than parasites who feed off others like worms. Inviting his peers to look upon your lives and repent, Invictus renounces his law degree, his firm, civilisation and even his poetry journal.
Perhaps most chilling of all, the (former?) lawyer vows he has plans to start a civil war in the U.S. In his own word: I have prophesied for years that I was born for a Great War; that if I did not witness the coming of the Second American Civil War I would begin it myself. Mark well: That day is fast coming upon you. On the New Moon of May, I shall disappear into the Wilderness. I will return bearing Revolution, or I will not return at all.
