And among the most class acts. He is among those who have made me proud to be a Democrat and an American, and I'm nearly as old as he is. Like all of us this age, we have shared tragedy, but Joe has had more than his share. Despite his personal losses, and his political defeats, he has persevered. I think this picture is my favorite. I could post many of Joe with the underprivileged, or with world leaders, but I think this one with love with Jill is the best. Stay with us, Joe and Dr. Jill. We need you yet.

(2,404 posts)I don't think that there are enough words to express my admiration for this man. He was my first choice for president. Despite some of the decisions he had made... Ones that baffle me at times, I greatly admire his service to our country. I think he would have made a great president.

(40,416 posts)He rolled 18 on charisma, always helpful. However, he also rolled 18 on compassion -- I know that compassion is not a standard D&D attribute, but just roll with me, so to speak.
I really do not care that I may disagree with Joe on some issues. I still like him, a lot. A whole lot!
I did not think he would run for POTUS, and he didn't. That in no way detracts from my love for the man. His position as VEEP during this era surely secures him as an important figure in history.
