'I am a threat'

'I am a threat': Embattled Ben Carson blames fearful 'secular progressives' and the media for his plight - but says the scrutiny has helped him raise $3.5 million

Sure, presidential candidates are vetted by the press, but embattled GOP candidate Ben Carson says his record is getting 'special scrutiny.'

'Because I am a threat,' Carson told NBC's Chris Jansing in an interview that aired on Meet the Press this morning. 'To the progressive, the secular progressive movement in this country,' he continued.

secular progressives instead of providing evidence for his exaggerated bio claims.

No evidence that he actually stabbed somebody? "But I DID! I DID try to stab somebody! If it weren't for that belt buckle..."

Carson lies / exaggerates details of his biography then defends them even after they're proven hooey.

Next he'll reveal that he was in that Prague cafe, just one table away from Mohamad Atta, and overheard everything. "So I leapt up from my table and tried to stab him, but he was wearing a giant belt buckle that deflected the blade..."
