Why has FoxNews discontinued the "Comment" function on their website?

Is it possible that the editors are too embarrassed to allow the gaggle of idiots, racists, bigots, and misogynistic assholes which comprise "Fox Nation" to continue to reveal the true nature of the typical Fox "fan"?

They should. So should yahoo and other sites. If they aren't going to actually moderate the comments section which is full of the most vile bigoted crap then dont have them.

Some people say that there were some insane rantings posted there by people who did it deliberately in order to see how the droolers would respond to outright nonsense.

The more ludicrous the post, the more the right-wing nutjobs would take it as gospel and respond enthusiastically.

It was fun to fuck with them, and they didn't even know they were being fucked with,

Or so I've heard some people say.

I think the GOP propagandists are concerned about not controlling the "intertubes" like they do with the media.

I think they talk "code speak" to the racists but the commenters talk flat-out racist back -- also they diss Mitt and Fox is SO in the bag for Mitt. Every time they have an article about Mitt the Freep types come in and make some "magic underwear" comment! LOL!!
