nationality" is really being threatened both by empire and by the ISDS in the TPP. Empire is of course seen in the power we use to control other nations and the TPP is giving the corporations the right to sue us in their international courts when they do not make a profit. In the ISDS my nationality is pretty much ignored in favor of the corporate good.
