the groom-to-be is an actor so I think you are right as to whether the friends were performers. The article also made note on the video being an internet hit.

5. If she was listening to the music via headphones, how did all the "performers" stay in time?

I don't understand how they synced the performances to music if they didn't have it playing on the street, yet, it seems she only heard it through headphones and they added the music to the video afterwards?

It was really well done, but I'm just curious about that....

the dancers would have had absolutely NO problem hearing the musical cues.

That she was wearing headphones does not mean the audio was cut off in the speakers, but the wearing of the headphones probably kept her focused on what was happening in front of her (behind the car,) oblivious to the dancers preparing to join from the sides. It was really well thought-out and executed.

She'd have to be a fool to refuse a man that can pull that off.
