GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — When a woman who works at the Central Nebraska Humane Society knows of a need and her nephew is looking for an Eagle Scout project, you can just about guess what happens next.

Some 156 man hours later, the Humane Society has a new obstacle and agility course for its shelter dogs.

The course was the Eagle Scout project of Jeremiah Reeser, a junior at Heartland Lutheran High School.

His aunt, Tonia Reeser, is an animal care technician at the Humane Society. She knew her nephew was in the market for an Eagle Scout project.

Including putting a fence around. This was around 1982. Question for you, did they throw that out as an idea?

They just had a road built in that looped around the cemetery. However the road wasn't leveled with the ground around it so it was several inches higher. Apparently a lot of elderly members of the church were complaining about being possibly injured when trying to visit loved ones.
