Trump completely sidesteps Muslim ID registration issue in his latest tweet.

Sez the Donald:

I didn't suggest a database-a reporter did. We must defeat Islamic terrorism & have surveillance, including a watch list, to protect America

Okay, Douchebag, we get it.

You told the Yahoo reporter that we'd have to do things a lot differently regarding terrorism. The Yahoo reporter responded with a hypothetical to the effect of, "Like what? Requiring Muslims to register and carry IDs?"

At which point the normal-brained person would have responded to the effect of, "No! No! That would be a horrible, un-American, unconstitutional idea!"

It would be an easy response. It's like lobbing a 40 mile per hour batting practice pitch at Chris Davis or Giancarlo Stanton and not expecting him to knock it out of the park.

Except you aren't the normal brained person, and you gave a vague answer about having to do a lot of things differently. Thus at that time giving your passive consent to the horrific idea that was thrown at you.

Then, because we were rightfully horrified by you having passively consented to what sounded like something ripped straight from the pages of Nazi Germany, people were curious and wanted to see if you actually did believe that. And as such, the NBC reporter asked whether you really supported requiring Muslims to register into a database, and you responded, "Absolutely"

Here's your problem: you're such a narcissistic ego freak that you will never, ever, ever admit that you were wrong. Or even that you were perceived to be wrong. Because that would make you look weak, at least in your little shriveled demented little hair brain.

So all you can say is that the Yahoo reporter suggested the idea. You were completely silent as to the fact that you apparently agreed with that idea. And that's what people are so upset about. Not that the Yahoo reporter suggested it, but that you seemed to be perfectly fine with it. And that you apparently doubled down on it like a KFC sandwich later in the day.

Because here's another problem. You seem to be leading in the GOP polls thanks to a freakish, bigoted, paranoid underclass in the GOP party. And walking back your comment would make them like you less, not more.

Republicans are odd creatures, sort of like vampires. They need some sort of source to feed on. For establishment types like Rubio, it's people like the Kochs and other big money types. But for The Donald, since you already are in the big money club, you need to feed on the freakish angry bigoted types who will feed your poll number and repost your dribble on Facebook and Twitter.

So fuck you for continuing to advocate for terrific totalitarian concepts and pandering to your sick little ideological base in the face of all that is good and decent.
