NEWNAN, Ga. – School administrators beefed-up security at East Coweta High School this afternoon as a precaution after a photo of one of their students wearing a Ku Klux Klan hood and Confederate flag made international headlines ...

The Coweta County Sheriff's Department provided additional security as the school's 3,900 students left the campus this afternoon.

Also helping to monitor the situation were members of the central office staff with Coweta County Schools, including Superintendent Steve Barker.
