Small compared to what's happening with BLM tonight, but some good news.

Our local Democratic Town Committee unanimously passed a resolution tonight urging our Congressman--who voted with the Republicans to pass the American Security Against Foreign Enemies SAFE Act, making it harder for Syrian refugees to enter the United States--to reconsider his position and join with the Democrats to uphold any presidential veto.

I didn't expect it to go this smoothly; it's hard to get a DTC to take a stand that might embarrass their Democratic Congressman.

I'm happy. This took some organizing and careful lobbying.
