Arlo in concert singing the full version of Alice's Restaurant. Today is the 50th anniversary of the massacree. Anybody else watching?

(40,209 posts)doing his Alice's Restaurant 50th Anniversary Tour. His daughter Sara Lee opened for him. They were wonderful. Arlo is a great entertainer.

Arlo manages to bring that out and everyone leaves with a smile.
Listening to that song when I returned from Vietnam made me feel like someone else gets it. It's an anthem of the Sixties.

I was at a boarding school near San Francisco and my room mate Eric's mother took us.
Eric's Mom was Maya Miller who was prominent in Nevada Democratic Party politics.
