A casual tip on a private Facebook page gave American female weather presenters an unofficial uniform

Have you ever arrived at work to find a colleague wearing something almost spooky-similar to your own outfit?

Multiply the embarrassment, hilarity, confusion or joy of that moment by at least 50 times, put it on TV, and you may just be able to put yourself in the shoes of America's female meteorologists right now.

4. As I understand it, many of those women

bought the dress because it is hard to find something with sleeves. I understand that! Many women do.

They need the sleeves to feel comfortable gesturing on TV. They need the sleeves to be warm enough. Many women need sleeves because they do not have toned arms, or because they are older and their skin shows their age.

We need dresses that flatter all types of women. It is a shame that dresses with sleeves are so hard to find that meteorologists all over the country end up with the same dress.
