Ted Cruz Linked to Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood Shootings

Wasnt it just last week that Ted Cruz secured the endorsement of leading pro-life activist and misogynist ideologue, Troy Newman? Newman, the president of Operation Rescue, and very recently deported from Australia, openly advocates for the assassination of abortion providers and claims explicit biblical justification for such actions.
But Cruz has also recently stood on the same stage as rabid, anti-gay pastor Kevin Swanson, as part of his effort to curry favor with the Kill the Gays extremist and his supporters. When confronted, Cruz has failed, and perhaps more precisely, refused, to disavow this violent philosophy or that aimed at abortion providers by his other dubious supporters.
This sort of pandering may warm the hearts of pious Iowa church ladies, but as far as I am concerned Ted Cruz has blood on his hands, including the blood of peace keepers. According to Ted Cruz, We need leaders like Troy Newman in this country who will stand up for those who do not have a voice. By proxy, at least, Troy Newman stood up today and spoke volumes.
Now, Senator Cruz has some splainin to do.

(1,942 posts)who report on this horrible crime, would STOP using the words "pro life".
It is total doublespeak, and a mockery of the English language.
The only correct term is:
"anti choice", the opposite of course being "pro choice".
We need to stop letting the right model our language!! Language does shape consciousness, and if we were fully conscious, we would make sure that the horrible doesn't become the ordinary as it is now

(51,755 posts)That is the hideous reality of what they are pushing. Even "anti-choice" is too kind a euphemism to describe those who would force a raped 12 year old to give birth after incest.

(6,829 posts)Said it should not be called "pro-life". The correct term is "pro-birth". After birth, the fetus needs to pull itself up by it's bootstraps.

(82,849 posts)But will he be? Sure, the popular media can extend no limit of stove-piping to force Democrats to "answer" for Black Lives Matter, the Occupy movement, and any number of other organic groups that the Democratic party had no hand in creating, funding or directing. Sadly, too many Democrats play along with the premise, and try to insert themselves into the dialog instead of saying, "Why don't you ask the people right outside here why they're doing what they're doing?" The unspoken answer to the never-asked question is that reporters don't talk to dirty fucking hippies or street thugs. (And the reporters can tell just by looking at them that that's what they are.)
But here we have Sen. Cruz directly participating in (and being paid to appear at?) events sponsored by these domestic terrorists who are so out of the mainstream. If a reporter asks about it, we are treated to a stream of nonsense: "I don't know nothin' 'bout killin' no gays or bombin' no clinics!" Any connection is thereby effectively severed, and there's never a follow up.
Wouldn't now be a good time for Sen. Cruz to be asked about supporting these violent whack jobs?

While Cruz is, in general. scum, this may indicate that some of the accusations in the story couldn't be backed up, so maybe it ought to be self-deleted here too.
