Pro-Lifers Just Showed Us How Not to Respond to the Planned Parenthood Attack
http://usuncut.com/news/pro-lifers-showed-us-how-not-to-respond-to-planned-parenthood-attacks/In Colorado Springs on Friday, an armed man entered a Planned Parenthood clinic and went on a shooting spree that ended in his surrender after shooting at least 12 people, killing three. Included in the list of victims were six police officers, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene.
The gunman, identified as 57-year-old Robert Dear, was a conservative Christian who is believed to be congregant at the same church as the officer who was killed; the Hope Chapel in Colorado Springs, whose website proudly declares that their mission is “Bringing glory to god through the transforming of lives by the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
Regardless of the religion or place of worship attended by the shooter or the slain officer, individual supporters of domestic terrorism in the name of the shared pro-life ideology quickly jumped on social media to declare his murderous rampage to be moral and righteous. These are, by and large, the same people who proudly decry that “all lives matter” to mock those who protest after a police officer shoots unarmed black suspects.
Perhaps the most disturbing reaction to the shooting is the lack of sympathy for those who died, just because it wasn’t as important as making a point.
