http://abcnews.go.com/US/planned-parenthood-shooting-suspect-robert-dear-court/story?id=35488013GOP front-runner Donald Trump concluded a meeting today of African-American pastors with the backing of some of the participants, but not the blanket endorsement he had initially advertised.
The outcome of his New York meeting didn't seem to faze Trump, however, saying he was "amazed" by today's events and it was a beautiful thing" that none of the attendees asked him to change the tone of his message.
I think they want to see victory because it is about we want to win and we want to win together, he said after the meeting this afternoon.
Trumps campaign had originally promoted todays meeting, which reportedly involved nearly 100 African-American pastors, as an endorsement, sending out a news release Wednesday using that language. The meeting was supposed to be followed by a news conference, which was canceled this weekend, and no media was invited to the closed meeting.

(40,416 posts)1. No, most of them basically said fuck you and did not attend.
Way to spin it, Donald Duck!
Oh! By the way, Donald Duck. Why did you cancel the press conference? I suspect it was because most, if not all, of the pastors told you to figuratively fuck off. I think you are making shit up again, Donald. We've told you not to do that but you just won't listen.
Bad Donald Duck!

(42,553 posts)2. Didn't those pastors realize the price of the honor of appearing on the same stage as The Donald
was an automatic endorsement? It's not like Donald gives a rat's ass about their honest opinions.
