OKLAHOMA CITY - Former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle's attorneys filed a notice Tuesday that they plan to appeal Fogle's more than 15-year sentence and $175,000 fine.
Fogle was also transferred from a Henderson, Ky. detention center to a Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City. His release date is set for July 11, 2029.
Fogle was sentenced to 188 months (15 years, 8 months) last month in connection with child porn and sex crimes charges. He arrived at the Kentucky jail Nov. 19 to await his transfer. He'll eventually serve his sentence at a federal prison in Littleton, Colorado.
Fogle's associate, Russell Taylor, was sentenced last week to 27 years in prison. The former executive director of the Jared Foundation plead guilty to child exploitation and porn charges.
