Travel in the Eurozone. Good or bad for American travellers this fall?

Not talking about Greece which is taking a hit from skittish American tourists who have cancelled/changed their plans to visit there.

Forex has the Euro down to about $1.2400. Some analysts say it will fall to $1.15 later in the summer. That's a good thing for Americans planning to travel in the fall.

Does this mean there will be some real deals coming along over the next 8 weeks or so?

Wondering if this means there will be a "sale on Europe" worth taking advantage of...

And I thought $1.35 was bad when I went to Sicily in 2005... CTyankee May 2012 #5

trip to Jordan and Egypt due to 'deals' there. I just wish my house here was sold because I could get something in Ireland at a lower price and lower exchange rate.

and wish I could join you, but 50th high school graduation reunion takes PRECEDENCE!

More directly, I'd say there's no way to know at the moment; take it one day at a time.

Last weekend of September, going back 'home,' and hanging with some very good friends. AND maybe NYC on the way.
