... Clinton's statement about Trump helping incite Muslim extremists as false, given the video that's just come out, but I suppose that's what we get with the media these days.

right-wing red meat, and there's NO reason to think it won't succeed here, especially because repugs have been suppressing education and encouraging 'religious' bigotry for years.

it's about the electoral college, and we know how that can be played. I don't think he can swing it, especially without enthusiastic support from the RNC, but still, it is getting worrisome.

don't underestimate Trump's skills at PR-- it's what he really did best in his years as a "developer" who actually developed very little.

This gets many people out for many reasons, including celebrity gawking and curiosity. He's a non-politician running for office and gets the anti-politician vote the way Nader got it. He's just much better at it than Nader was, but probably still not good enough to get into office.

At least I hope not.

ie about somewhere between 10% ("best" case) and ~ 5% ( more likely) of the total US voting population.

Republican Registered Voters ~ 33 % of electorate
Independent Registered Voters ~ 33% of electorate
Democratic Registered Voters ~ 33% of electorate

He is currently getting the "crazy/Kardashian " 1/3 of 1/3 vote.

So why couldn't Trump win the nomination with a similar vote count now?

is to interact closely with people in small locales.

She doesn't need to introduce herself to thousands of people with big speeches. I can see where that would be useful to Bernie.

I don't think many at the Trump rally were from Biloxi. I've talked to people all over town about the election, and I haven't met a single person from Biloxi who likes Trump. The people at that rally were mostly from out in the sticks north of here. There might have been some from Gulfport, but you can't expect any better from Gulfport people.
