The sale is good until 6/6. Price includes shipping. Seems like a pretty good deal as I haven't seen them this cheap. However, they seem to all be off-brands so I'm not sure how good the reliability will be. The warranty ranges from 1-3 years on these, so be sure to check that before you buy. I have some CFLs that need replacing, so I'm going to try my luck with a few of these.

(51,122 posts)I know they look great on my car, but that's all I know.
We just moved into a place full of CFLs and the light they produce, depresses me.

(21,132 posts)Sylvania actually produces decent ones that produce the right color spectrum. That's all I buy.
I am interested in seeing what the LEDs are like. They should be better.

(36,827 posts)CFLs, like all florescent bulbs, produce native color temps closer to the UV range. Regular incandescent bulbs produce native color temps that are much lower, so the light looks warmer (yes, I realize this is backwards from what you might think).
According to the details page, all of these bulbs produce 3000K light, which means they should closely resemble the color temp of regular incandescent bulbs which produce a native temp of around 2700K. CFLs are around 6000K unless they are filtered.
