Did you see this great paragraph from Alan Grayson??

Grayson, on facebook:

"I want an end to hubris. No, we can’t bring peace through war. No, we can’t force our way of life or our way of thinking on seven billion other people. No, we aren’t going to end the 1200-year-old civil war between the Sunnis and the Shia. No, we aren’t going to go and kill everyone everywhere in the world who harbors some harsh views of us. And no, they won’t greet our soldiers with flowers, bake apple pies for them, and salute the American flag with a hand on their hearts. They want to be them, not us. We can care for victims, protect ourselves, and help our friends without sticking our nose into everyone else’s business."

Truth!

Been a fan for a long time. His sarcasm and dry wit may be off putting to some, but I grew up on Long Island where sarcasm is the language of the Gods!

Plus he is working hard for us little people instead of special interests.

He is not a sell out to big money like 95% of Congress and he knows his subject matter well.

and this Congressman-with-guts regularly skewers sacred cows speaking to the Congress.

He says the correct things, and he's just playing the wealth game by the rules that exist. So it is mandatory to cut him some slack. If he did violate any rules, you cannot expect him to be an expert on all the legalese and trickery of offshore investments and tax shelters.

That is what is important, not gossip. And how very fucking hilarious that we are admonished to not talk about Clinton baggage, and I suppose we are to ignore how very wealthy Hillary is, eh?

So - none of your "points" are relevant to me, a person who lives here and will be voting for Grayson.

I've always liked Alan Grayson. Although I feel less now after following his divorce in the local news.
I thought he was too harsh on his wife fighting over the money. The woman had 4 children by him. I can't believe he took the "We're not married" approach.

That said, and after reading this article, he still has my vote.

to include a candidates personal life into the decision making process as to whether or not they are going to support someone vs the typical Gop voter - as if that makes the slightest bit of difference in job performance

I've been in Grayson's district since he started in politics and from what I have observed he stands heads and shoulders above most other Congress-critters in terms of accomplishments and not being afraid to speak to truth
