Replaced by prison porn on Saturday and The Place for Politics on Sunday? I couldn't find anything about it on Google or the MSNBC website, however both hosts' Facebook and Twitter accounts have been inactive for five days.
Are the sharks circling Chris and Rachel as the last liberals standing who have their own show? Anybody know anything? Or, are they just getting the weekend off? Weird because usually they have guest hosts when that happens.

(5,180 posts)'The Place for Politics 2016' from 6am to 1pm (cst). Sunday it says the same for 8am to 1pm, but they left on Al Sharpton at 7.

(75,480 posts)Sorry. I should have been more specific.
sorry for jumping to conclusions. Most if not all of us here agree about mathews so that should have tipped me off what you weren't talking about him. sorry
I used to like to watch tweety for the comic relief then we got a hd tv and one day I notices that when he gets all besides himself as he is want to do he spits as he talks, sometime clearly on his guest. I can't stand to watch him anymore.

Let's put it this way - if anyone thought that MSNBC was 'liberal' in any way needs to put that idea to rest ...

(34,137 posts)They see to be having a special this week for one of the primaries.
But when I searched for her name, Melissa Harris-Perry shows up for both Saturday and Sunday next week (Feb.20 & 21).

(4,338 posts)that the primaries and all the hubub of the election, big event times/days etc, MSNBC will put their big guns out there and relegate the weekend hosts/shows to minor roles or even given a break until things settle down.
That said, I realize MSNBC is in trouble and they are trying to figure out what to do.

I don't remember them interrupting programming for the Democrats but then I don't watch them much anymore other than Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow when they are tolerable. I'm glad Melissa and Alex are safe for now anyway.
