Political Wire:A new Public Policy Polling survey in South Carolina conducted after last weekends GOP debate finds Donald Trump leading the pack with 35%, followed by Ted Cruz at 18%, Marco Rubio at 18%, John Kasich at 10%, Ben Carson at 7% and Jeb Bush at 7%.
Key takeaway: The GOP poll suggests Trumps debate performance in which he criticized former President George W. Bush for the 9/11 attacks may not be hurting the frontrunner in a state that has deep ties to the Bush family.

After savaging the Bush II administration, Trump is still at around 35% in South Carolina. This tells me that it will either be Trump or a brokered convention. I very well could see Trump arriving at the convention with 40% delegates, Cruz 30%, and the remaining 30% split between Rubio, Kasich, and Bush.
South Carolina still has to be one of George Bush's still most popular states.
