Based on ALL the actions of the GOP and their attitude toward Clinton, Obama and other Democratic presidents, they are the only legitimate government in the US. Every action they have taken in the last 8 years tells you so.

Voter ID is ultimately that ONLY Republicans are allowed to vote. Kind of like Saddam Hussein getting 99% of the vote in Iraq. The road is he road we are on. In the end they could skewer the election process to virtually guarantee a GOP dictatorship. In their mind they have a 2nd Amendment army in the waiting.

Why such treason does not cause complete outrage I do not know.

1. The cause: neo-Confederate ideology

According to neo-Confederates, they're entitiled to rule with in an iron fist whether or not they're in the majority. Everything's hunky-dory if they have the majority, but if they're in the minority, they'll make the country hell on earth for duly elected Democratic leaders, be it through sabotage, obstructionism, insurrection, or even outright treason. They're still fighting the Civil War and will continue until someone stops them; they're prone to peddling revisionist history and are hostile to Constitutional democracy and crave theocratic, dictatorial power for themselves and their paymasters.
