and our national reputation swirl down the toilet with it.

This election he's been able to mostly blame the conservative voters themselves, and rightly so as far as it goes. As Lindsay Graham just said, the party's "batshit crazy."

Yes, Poppy was part of a leadership whose manipulation, exploitation and outright betrayal brought them to this, but every voter is an adult and responsible for what he chooses to believe and behave. I blame the voters too. Reality is, the buck stops with the voters.

JEB! was always his favorite and the son he personally groomed for the Presidency. Circumstances (and Bar) dictated that W* got a shot at the brass ring first, which of course soured the pot for every other Bush* to follow.

And yes, watching the Bush* legacy swirl down the commode is historical schadenfreude of the highest order.

...sending off their oldest ne'er do well son into the waiting arms of Uncle Dick, the Abuser and his evil sidekick Rumsferatu, to rule the world, knowing full well that their kinkster, substance abusing family scion did NOT have the stones for it, and except for his shady South American dealings, it would have been - should have been - the second son, the smart one, the good one, the one that married the Mex'can... Poppy's favorite - Jebbie - to lead the family's reputation back into the light where it belonged... to wash away the Bush* Klan stains of Prescott's nazi money laundering and Poppy's stint as butt-boy to the Dulles boys, not to mention those uncomfortable questions about Dallas, November 1963. And all that name-sake capital they had to spend buying Florida for Jebbie so he could steal the Presidency for W*... sad tale... Cry old man. Cry.
