Warpy
(111,339 posts)but it's a low blow comparing an unfortunate shot (and don't we all have those around?) with a heavily made up model shot through a scrim, probably years ago.
It's not slander but it shows just how low and foul that man is.
AtheistCrusader
(33,982 posts)Cruz is fully on the same level as Trump, so this kind of shit-slinging is to be expected.

And encourage women to join in the fight against both Trump and Cruz.

(872 posts)She seems like a real person, with difficulties, even despite her unfortunate taste in employers.
Trump's wife, not so much. Poses next to nude, marries a bat shit crazy wealthy man. Yes, I am prehistoric enough to think wearing virtually no clothes does not belong in public, sue me. If she wants to do that, and clearly she does, that's her right, just like it's my right to say classless.
So, real person vs. trophy wife.
Also, there was an article today about Cruz trying for years to help his drug addicted (now dead) sister, and financially and emotionally supporting her young son, etc. As someone with addiction in their family, I know that's a mensch, despite all the stuff that's wrong with him. I can't imagine Trump lifting a finger to help anyone.

(24,411 posts)And for the record, I think Ted Cruz's wife is gorgeous. She's poised, she's articulate and she's very pretty.
That's an unflattering picture of her, but so what.
All this does is demonstrate what a miserable human being Trump is.

An arguably true fact. That is widely reported.

You haven't shown that the PAC and Cruz campaign coordinated together on this particular ad.

(11,087 posts)Brought in as a prop for Clint Eastwood's use, the poop soon began flying through the air as the candidates dug in, grabbed handfuls of the foul stuff and began throwing it at every other candidate. FLOTUS is not an elected office. I haven't voted for one yet.
colorado_ufo
(5,737 posts)Cruz's wife has great bone structure in her face, was caught in an unfortunate expression, and may be a bit older (unsure of this). Had she been posed and professionally made-up and coiffed, then the comparison would be closer to apples to apples. We would also need to compare photos at the same age.
In any case, it all has nothing to do with the worthiness of either candidate to be president. Which is zero.

trumps wife is a slutty woman. i think she is a rotten role model for girls and young women
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=7710641
REASON FOR ALERT
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.
YOUR COMMENTS
Get out. Thanks for giving the right-wing freaks something to link to on a liberal site that slut-shames a woman. Just. Go. Away.
JURY RESULTS
A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Thu Mar 24, 2016, 01:25 PM, and voted 6-1 to HIDE IT.
Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Poster stated his/her case. If you don't agree, tell us why. I'm not hiding for things that don't violate TOS.
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: However appropriate we may believe the description to be, we don't throw it at politician's wives here.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: There are many comments that can be made against Trump's wife, trophy wife, vapid, vain, you get the drift, but slut is not appropriate name for any woman. The slut name says that a woman can't have multiple sex partners, like a man can who is a stud.
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT

awoke_in_2003
(34,582 posts)and as far as juvenile, I know how your type of posts go. Had the person responded about being concerned about "jobs, education, health care, foreign policy AND global warning" the question would have been "well, what about HRC's position on reproductive rights". No matter what would have been said, you would have come back with something that the poster did not address in their answer. It is standard primary shit-stirring practice.

(40 posts)Trump is a classic narcissist and he can't not respond to attacks on his "points of pride" - even when the attacks are anonymous like this one. This is how to get him "off message" (is he ever really "on message"?!?) and to show how shallow and weak he really is (although I agree that "slut shaming" his wife is unacceptable even by the standards being set by this year's Republican race). We need something like a "Truth about Trump" super-PAC that simply keeps attacking the things he is most proud of to keep him lashing out randomly.

(631 posts)And Heidi Cruz's employer gave her husband a million dollars for his campaign, although I'm not sure why the second son of God needed it. Did the hundreds of pastors he recruited to preach up his campaign to their flocks demand payment or something? Or maybe all those Republican meeting halls masquerading as churches demanded rent? So, who cares what this anointed one's wife looks like? Look at who she married and is now trying to use to get herself a house on Pennsylvania Avenue - I guess so she'd can sit by the fire while he cuts funding for Planned Parenthood and guts Obamacare so less fortunate women won`t have anywhere to go for the STD testings and other reproductive services, and won't have the money to see the doctor when they get sick. My guess is that Mrs. Cruz is cool with all of that, and wouldn't ever have to use the free clinic for her own health care needs, anyway. She has hers, after all.
But then again, beauty is only skin deep after all!
