I love to hate Donald Trump

I am in a bit of an unusual situation; I am progressive supporting Donald Trump….. well, sort of anyway. I certainly not sending him money for his campaign, I don’t attend his rallies, or visit his website. I didn’t even vote for him in our state’s primary and I will definitely not vote for him in the general election if he makes it that far. So why do I say I’m supporting him? That’s because I really want The Donald to win the Republican nomination.

When he first came on the nomination scene I hated him. Brash and totally full of himself, he was insulting someone different every day. He stirred up the hate that lay dormant in too many Americans and brought it raging to the surface. He spoke to their darkest angles, and they answered.

He set up undocumented Mexican immigrates as scapegoats for dissatisfied American workers and made promises that every thinking person knew he couldn’t keep. It embarrassed me that the rest of the world could see that someone whose chief communication method was demagoguery was in the running to be President of the United States, and he was doing relatively well.

However, it is said that everything in life has its advantages and its disadvantages. I began to notice that having Trump running for President, and doing well, definitely had its advantages.....

I don't live and breathe politics like so many here do.I don't have thousands of posts arguing this point or that, but that statement gave me real pause.

I don't know how people think...obviously.To be promoting a candidate who only promotes herself, over a candidate who seriously wants to improve the lives of ordinary citizens instead of the wealthy elite.I mean really..what the actual he** is going on here?

After having read about the shenanigans that DWS has pulled, and then President Obama praising her,I gotta tell ya,it's absolutely disgusting.

I decided years ago that I could only vote Democrat and still retain a clear conscience, but I didn't sign a contract or anything,so I can say what I feel. There is no way I could ever support, or vote for the candidate that so many here are supporting.

I actually would like to see Trump win the nomination as a big FU to the RNC...and maybe even the DNC would take notice. We also need to get DWS out of the DNC

People are really getting fed up with having to hold their noses to cast a vote, and maybe a Trump win of the nomination would drive that point home.

but I doubt it.

It was not appropriate for this GD board.

However, it is amazing the lengths you might be willing go to "teach others a lesson" if your candidate doesn't win.

I wonder if anyone has noticed that we as citizens of the US,have seen our way of life and our income seriously eroded? It seems to me that our way of life has been whittled at continuously.Ever notice that wages are stagnant..the stripping away of our right to privacy, security continue unabated even tho the Democrats we have elected could have done something about it ?Nafta and Gatt and now TPP (that she did support whole-heartedly..but all of a sudden now she doesn't)?.And there are still those who feel it is ok to keep voting in the people who have not only allowed this to go on,but have willingly participated.

So.Do we just keep voting these pseudo Democrats into office so they can continue to tear us down?

Not me.

Sorry.
