On her show tonight, she identified THIS guy as "Senator Angus King, I-Maine":
How do you even...?

(5,167 posts)Sen. King, ME.
I didn't hear the correction/apology - I had moved on to another network.
However, I don't blame Rachel - it was likely an assistant - clueless- who found and chose the photo of Rep. King from NY.

(18,791 posts)I at a minimum expect her to report fairly.
Instead she blatantly shills for Hill.
She lost ALL credibility.

(13,340 posts)She has frequently been critical, and supportive of BOTH candidates. When reporting breathlessly about the size of Bernie's crowd, she has said, "can you feel the Bern?" At least two timea while I've watched. She had a whole segment a week or so ago about how competitive Bernie is after being dismissed by so many.
But in Bernie land, if you say anything nice about Clinton, or questioning Nernie's path to the nomination, then you are in the tank for Hillary.

(20,002 posts)As soon as they put up the graphic. I was kind of surprised that she came back and acknowledged it after they had finished the segment.

(19,926 posts)Now if you want to complain about how she kept repeating how many senators had endorsed Hillary and that Bernie just got his first senate endorsement, rant on. She just can't help herself. It's so disgusting.

(45,319 posts)why you see errors that glare and also why there is so much repetition in her material, she's got fearful second rate staff and no one on it is her peer. An excellent anchor always has a counterpart producer that shapes and checks the work. Rachel has Rachel and Rachel says Rachel's writing is perfect and her staff is good enough.

(15,806 posts)One of her staffers did, but she took responsibility for it. There was no foul, no offense, and both Kings likely got a chuckle out of it.
Stuff happens. Not everything is an evil conspiracy. Time to get a grip, kiddies.

(50,254 posts)Just couldn't understand how anyone on a show like that, even a staffer, could get those two guys mixed up. You'd think they'd have one of those posters with a picture of everybody in the House and the Senate up on the wall in the office.

Stellar
(5,644 posts)when she admitted to 'all' the errors in that segment, or were you just looking for something to dump all over Maddow. She was always good at correctng her mistakes, if not her opinions.
They at MSNBC probably got some new help from FOX 'snews' ...seeing that they are trying to attract more Republic0n eyes to there show.
